Leading Amid Disruption - Courage

This session is focused on what leaders can do to promote courage on their teams and help their staff out of fear and burn out.

Leading a team through disruption requires every employee to be innovating and taking risks that contribute to the greater good. You need your teammates to be courageous. Yet, fear and burnout make innovation all but impossible. This prevents creativity, problem solving or risk taking when we are scared and tired.

And, while you have a huge influence on the courage of your teammates, it is remarkably easy to feed the tendency towards fear and burnout without even realizing it.

This course is a chance to explore how we often inadvertently destroy courage, as well as try out some courage-building leadership habits needed to lead amid disruption.

In this session, your practice will grow by:

  • Exploring courage as a key leadership trait

  • Assessing the impact you currently have on the courage of your team

  • Discuss habits that foster courage

This is for you if:

  • Fear, burnout and self-preservation are apparent in your team

  • You are trying to help your team thrive through change and disruption

  • Enable your team to show up during disruption through courageous action

This is ideal for leaders with direct reports who want to support their staff to bring their full selves to work.

1 hour 15 minutes + optional Q&A for 15mins

This class will be hosted on Zoom and may include breakout rooms where you will be interacting with other participants.
