Break free from the cult of busyness

As engaged leaders, we understand it’s important to make use of principles like prioritization and workflow to support a sustainable pace in our day-to-day work. And yet, we seem to keep getting caught in the trap of being overly busy.

This hands-on workshop invites you to “take stock” of all you have on the go, and then proposes principles and practices for managing prioritization and flow of work in your everyday.

In this session, your practice will grow by:

  • Generating insights around your current way within the “cult of busyness” by focusing on how you can shift to create change – centering on what activities matter most.

  • Understanding and putting into practice principles from Stephen Covey (Time Management Matrix) as well as Jim Benson & Tonianne DeMaria (Personal Kanban) to address challenges with prioritization and work flow.

This is for you if you want to:

  • “Step back and take stock” of all the tasks you have on the go using specific lenses to support your inquiry.

  • Learn more about how to prioritize and manage that endless “to do list” – breaking free from the cult of busyness!

This is for anyone who wants to break free from the cult of busyness.

1 hour 15 minutes + optional Q&A for 15mins

This class will be hosted on Zoom and may include breakout rooms where you will be interacting with other participants.

Faculty: Caroline will host you in this session.
